The MS_OSSRC AM solution uses the CrossTalk™ Mapping and Mediation Engine to establish a CORBA connection to the Ericsson OSSRC 6.1 3GPP CORBA interface. MS_OSSRC AM provides mapping of events to HP TeMIP OSI alarms and clear correlation of these events. The solution provides automated resynchronisation between the OSSRC platform and HP TeMIP in situations where CORBA-based communications between HP TeMIP and OSSRC are established.

Loss of communications between Mapping and Mediation Engine and the MS_OSSRC CORBA communications process will also result in automatic resynchronisation when communications are re-established. The solution is configurable to support north and southbound operator Alarm Acknowledgement synchronisation, and southbound automatic alarm acknowledgement as required. Both resynchronisation and OSSRC-based alarm list rebuild activities preserve existing Operator Note annotations on alarms. The solution supports Ericsson MML Downstream Command Agent functions.
