The CrossTalk™ HP OpenView Operations Bridge provides a highly configurable capability for the management of HP OpenView Operations alerts via HP TeMIP, enabling the power of these two products to be fully utilized in a mixed mode network architecture. This solution offers first line fault management integrated through HP TeMIP, without the need to refer directly to the HP OpenView Operations system.

Features include powerful entity modelling and mapping, full resynchronization, bi-directional alarm status updates and contextual launch of the HP OpenView Operations GUI.

The HP OpenView Operations Bridge can model every type of device (handled by HP OpenView Operations) as a different HP TeMIP class/sub-class. By default all entities are modelled under a default class. HP OpenView Operations alarms can be mapped to specific entities, or by default (prior to dataload) all alarms are mapped against a default entity.
