Using interface services and communication channels defined by JSR 263 1.0, this component implements the server-side of the interface, providing services such as:

  • Alarm clearance notification
  • Alarm attribute changes notification
  • Alarm state changes notification
  • Re-synchronisation notification
  • Alarm query capabilities

The CrossTalk™ OSS/J JSR263 Fault Management OSS/J Server Adaptor is based on our platform independent CrossTalk™ Mapping and Mediation Technology, a high performance framework implementing mediation and business logic through highly configurable mapping rules, providing an efficient flow of information between heterogeneous OSS systems and network elements.

The CrossTalk™ OSS/J JSR263 Fault Management OSS/J Server Adaptor is successfully deployed in a live production environment, for a major European Tier 1 Fixed/Mobile line operator, and by utilising the CrossTalk™ Mapping and Mediation Technology it provides an operationally critical interface between IBM Tivoli Netcool OMNIbusand NetCracker CIA (Customer Impact Analysis).
