The Perl Automation Framework is a major new capability for HP TeMIP solutions. The framework provides a Perl environment for application developers to build and extend HP TeMIP solutions. Layered on the CrossTalk™ Alarm Application Services (AAS), the framework provides automatic processing of HP TeMIP alarms.

The Perl Automation Framework adds significant value to HP TeMIP solutions in short timescales. This enables a Rapid Application Development (RAD) approach for HP TeMIP development. No special skills are needed to develop applications. The Perl environment is tightly integrated with HP TeMIP.

Perl scripting flexibility and the dynamic nature in which functionality can be deployed are key features. With these capabilities, extensive business benefit through reduction of operations work load and time to rectify faults can be realized.
