Systems Mechanics Acquires Majority Shareholding in Zenulta Ltd to Fill Gap in Marketplace for Cross Domain Correlation Technology. Acquisition excites marketplace as SysMech enhances its product range for Telecoms Providers Systems Mechanics Ltd (SysMech), specialist in telecoms network and service management, has acquired the majority shareholding of Zenulta Ltd, providers of the ground-breaking Zen™ Enterprise Event "Proximity Correlation" technology. The acquisition enables SysMech to fill a clear and recognized gap in the telecoms marketplace, providing high value cross domain correlation for network and service assurance, supplemented by its existing CrossTalk™ range of assurance products. The event correlation technology is a radically new approach to Enterprise Correlation that breaks down the barriers of correlation technologies. It enables telecoms businesses to pro-actively manage complex, multi-vendor, multi-platform networks and systems, ensuring smooth running and constant service delivery. It identifies root cause events rapidly, ensuring consistent quality of service and vastly reduced operational costs. The acquisition of Zenulta by SysMech means that for the first time in this marketplace there is a provider able to independently offer and evolve a market-leading cross-domain correlation product set. This is supplemented by consultancy and product training services to Systems Integrators for solution delivery worldwide. The move complements the SysMech CrossTalk™ product range for fault management, providing a comprehensive offering for Network and Service Assurance. As the company moves forward focus will concentrate on its product range and associated 'specialist consultancy/training services' to enable the successful implementation of the combined SysMech/Zenulta product set into customers, primarily via partnerships with other market leading Systems Integration organisations for product delivery. Rob Green, Managing Director of SysMech, said: "Cross-Domain correlation is critical to our growth and evolution as a company. We undertook a two year survey to identify a suitable tool and were on the brink of developing our own when we came across Zenulta and its Proximity Correlation tool." "We were immediately impressed by the tool and the underlying technology behind it. There is nothing comparable in the marketplace. Its raw performance and throughput credentials, coupled with the innovative Proximity Correlation approach, dramatically exceed the most demanding requirements of current and next generation networks. In addition, the tool's synergies and fit with our portfolio and expertise were ideal. The bringing together of our two companies has consolidated a formidable product engineering team, support and consultancy infrastructure capable of maintaining and evolving a market-leading product set worldwide." Derek Johnston, the Zenulta COO said: "The move is a natural progression of the ongoing relationship between Zenulta and SysMech." He cites the strengths of Zenulta's product which were rapidly identified by SysMech and resulted in the partnership between the two companies. The relationship was further strengthened by delivery of a major project to Turkey's leading mobile communication provider, Turkcell, where the two companies worked together very successfully. "Turkcell chose the technology as a vital part of its drive for excellence in network service management, as the only technology able to meet the network provider's need for time-based event problem analysis to deliver high quality uninterrupted services. In addition, the vision SysMech has for its business future is to continue with the increased focus on its product range and the Zenulta product brings this vision a step closer." He concluded.
