Perl Automation Framework

Perl Automation Framework is a major new capability for TeMIP solutions. The framework provides a Perl environment for application developers to build and extend TeMIP solutions. Layered on the CrossTalk™ Alarm Application Services (AAS), the framework provides automatic processing of TeMIP alarms. The framework adds significant value to TeMIP solutions in short timescales. This enables a RAD approach for TeMIP development. No special skills are needed to develop applications. The Perl environment is tightly integrated with TeMIP.

Perl scripting flexibility and the dynamic nature in which functionality can be deployed are key features. With these capabilities, extensive business benefit through reduction of operations work load and time to rectify faults can be realized.
