XNA is a generic CrossTalk™ component that provides uniform access to Network Management Systems (such as TeMIP) and other APIs and resources (e.g. Unix). Its interface is presented as a Web service across SOAP protocol.

  • Abstract access to various APIs via a generic request/response protocol
  • Client library (for both Java and C++) for easy access to XNA services, offering a programmatic interface to request and responses and providing asynchronous support.
  • Macro features: Network Management primitives can be combined into one single action acting like a macro for XNA to execute e.g. deploying a TeMIP entity could consist of executing a Unix command, pre-registration, creation, post-registration and resuming, all in one single request
