The Regular Expression Plug-in operates as a plug-in to the Alarm Application Services (AAS) mapping rulesets. It allows mapping rules to apply sequences of configurable regular expression against extracted alarm data for the purpose of alarm identification. In the event of an alarm being identified ("matched") via these mechanisms a configurable multiple value classification set is returned to the mapping rules for subsequent inclusion in alarm text as required. |
