The CrossTalk™ Mediation AM Toolkit product provides a generic configurable mediation facility within the HP TeMIP framework to enable message streams from a variety of sources external to be imported into HP TeMIP.

Each mediation stream is allocated prescribed mapping functions, as defined by sets of Mapping Rules. Messages may be passed to a variety of CrossTalk™ Model AMs for alarm modelling in HP TeMIP.

Full alarm resynchronisation is supported as well as bi-directional alarm state synchronisation such as acknowledgement and termination, where the managed equipment interface supports this.

The following types of message stream interfaces are available: TCP/IP, SNMP, CORBA, Database, XML File Based.
