The CrossTalk™ Mapper GUI has been designed for rapid reliable development and maintenance of CrossTalk™ Mapping Rules, using a simple intuitive web-based user interface. It integrates with the CrossTalk™ DECF product for centralised management, deployment and control of mapping rulesets.

The definition of Mapping Rulesets is composed of:

• Fault Identification, based on regular expressions over various alarm attributes
• Mapping Rules, defining re-mappings of attributes, and actions such as calling a plug-in which forwards the alarm details to another application
• Aggregations, where Mapping Rules are associated with Fault Identifications
